Hellos 1c.
here are some updates to keep you all informed:
1. Class Gathering/Outing/BBQIt will be held at East Coast Park as majority of the class "protested" when we said the gathering is going to be at Pasir Ris Park. It will be on 8 November 2008. The estimated duration will be about 4-5 hours. Perhaps 4pm to 8-9pm. The class committee will keep you informed and posted if there are any changes.
2. Contribution of $3 to Class FundThis is a gentle reminder to those who haven't paid up. Please pay to me(Charles) by the end of this month. Latest by 30/9. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated.
3. Loss of belongingsPlease be mindful of your personal belongings as there are quite a number of ppl who have lost their belongings in the classroom.
4. Cultural Fusion RestaurantApparently, the class committee has chosen the roles(NOT CONFIRMED) for each of the pupils of the class. We will be asking you if you all agree to your selected role. The roles for the restaurant are chefs(they will be the ones cooking), waiters(these are the ppl who takes orders and serve the dishes) and entertainers(these are the ppl who will entertain the customers). There are two more roles that i cannot remember......:X
5. Class PhotographsI will clear all photographs and give those ppl who haven't gt their photos asap.....very sry....
6. CME ReflectionsThe Reflections for the year 08 are:
1. Reflection on Goals and Ambition
2. Reflection on academic performance (at the end of tests and exams)
3. Reflection on S1 Orientation Camp?
4. Reflection on CCA
5. Reflection on Service learning or CIP (Write about the Dunman Care and Share day on 15/3)
6. Reflection on 5Ds self assessment
7. Reflection on drugs (include the harmful effects of drugs and how would you give advice to a friend you noe is a drug addict?)
8. Reflection on ppl wif disabilities (disabled ppl)
-If there is one thing you can do to help a friend with disability, what would it be and how would you put your plan in action?
9. Reflection on 9.11 Incident
- Imagine you are aboard Flight 93. Once you realised you are on a suicide plane, how would you feel? What would you have done?
10. Reflection on "Pay it Forward"
-What would you do to change the world? What does the world means to you? The world and YOU!
